As the school is a ‘Farm School’, it is envisaged that the landscaping will celebrate the natural biodiversity of the sites rural setting. Any low-quality trees removed will be replaced.

In our design, we have considered the following:

• The use of environmentally friendly maintenance free materials • Solar Photovoltaic Panels on south facing roof • Natural ventilation using efficiently designed windows to allow for cross ventilation; external shading devices to allow for shading in the summer • The installation of a water management system
